ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Ivy grew up in a creative family and spent her weekends during middle school and high school, taking fashion design classes at Parsons. She always knew she wanted to have her own collection. Naturally, when it came time for college she applied to Parsons. After graduating in 2009, she got a job as a designer for Kate Spade.

In 2016, Ivy came across a class that was teaching couture flower making for clothing and millinery, located at a chateau in the South of France. She signed up and quit her job. It was at a trip to the flea market with the class, that she found some of the first inspiration for the collection— antique hand embroidered linens and French children’s clothing from the 19th century. She had a clear concept for the collection when she came back to New York.

With her industry experience, Ivy felt that it was important to create a focused collection of special pieces, and to produce it in New York City. The collection officially launched for Spring 2020.
