Ivory Broderie Anglaise Capelet Maxi Dress

With its capelet neckline and long, tiered skirt, this dress draws on the French bohemian style of the 1970s. A tiered ruffle extends from the neckline over the shoulders, while pintucks, smaller ruffles, and embroidered trim detail the front and back.

The dropped waist is marked with a row of embroidered trim and a ruffle before opening into a full skirt. At the hem, an embroidered eyelet edge finishes the tiers, carrying the Broderie Anglaise pattern through to the bottom of the dress.

Made from custom Broderie Anglaise cotton voile, the ivory fabric keeps the detailed construction light. Wear it with flat sandals for daytime or add retro platform heels for an occasion.
