This floral clip is made from leftover striped poplin, giving unused fabric another purpose. Each flower is cut and assembled by hand, with the stripes creating a graphic contrast across the layered petals.

The petals are finished with pinked edges, while a silver-tone metal alligator clip makes it easy to wear in the hair or attach to the lapel of a coat, jacket, or blazer. The small size makes it an easy way to add color and pattern to an otherwise simple outfit.

Because each flower is made by hand from leftover fabric, no two are exactly alike and slight variations are part of the piece.

This hair clip is made locally in NYC, with leftover fabric pieces from our garment production.

Our 100% Supima cotton poplin is sourced from a mill in Northern Italy that is fully vertical and traceable, uses 60% self-produced energy and 100% energy from renewable sources, washes their fabrics with non-drinkable water from a nearby lake, that is returned after purification, and follows ZDHC and OEKO TEX standards.

As always, we ship without the use of plastic.
