Broderie Anglaise Empire-inspired Pintucked Top

This blouse has 40 pintucks adorning the yoke, which is attached to the body with a band of narrow custom trim. Perfectly puffed sleeves, inspired by the Empire period will retain their shape which is created by having a shorter lining. The waist is defined by 44 additional pintucks, with a decorative inset pieced yoke of custom embroidered trim. The hem and ruffle at the neck are finished with an embroidered edge, while 12 mother of pearl buttons run down the back. This top was made over three days by one sewer, at a New York City factory. Crafted in a custom made Broderie Anglaise cotton voile.
