Broderie Anglaise Tiered Back Ruffle Top

This blouse has 34 pintucks running down the front and back. 2 layers of ruffles, finished with an embroidered edge and attached with a narrow trim, adorn the sleeves and the front of this top. A custom embroidered trim runs down the front of the garment. The back of the top flares away from the body, with 3 tiers of gathers to create volume. 2 trims are applied around the hem of the garment to create even more gauzy structure. This top was made over three days by one sewer, at a New York City factory. Crafted in a custom made Broderie Anglaise cotton voile.
